This March, as we celebrate women everywhere, we're bringing together creativity, connection, and purpose in one unforgettable afternoon. Set in the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere of Freshwater Brewing Co in Brookvale, this special event combines the therapeutic joy of painting with meaningful action to support women rebuilding their lives.
Come and relax, leave any worries at the door as you discover the joy, satisfaction and therapeutic benefits of painting. You don't need to be an artist to enjoy this experience, just an open mind and a willingness to have fun. Artist Kylie Johnson from the Bayview Boathouse Art Studio will guide you step by step and sip by sip as you paint one of her meaningful artworks, while also welcoming your own creative touches and ideas. This is a popular wellbeing activity designed to help you discover your creative side and enjoy a "mind escape" relieving any stress and sinking into a "creative flow". Guaranteed to leave lasting memories in this fun relaxed environment.
Your ticket includes a guided Paint & Sip experience with all art materials provided, your completed canvas to take home, a delicious luncheon grazing board generously supplied by Freshwater Brewing Co, plus silent auction and raffle prizes to amplify the impact.
We're honoured to welcome keynote speaker Rowena Jayne, bestselling author, psychotherapist, naturopath, and passionate advocate for women's wellbeing. Rowena specialises in helping women break free from trauma, PTSD, anxiety and self-doubt. Her powerful message perfectly complements this afternoon of creativity and healing, reminding us that when we come together in support of one another, we create transformation.
Every woman deserves a beautiful afternoon of creativity and connection. Every woman also deserves access to recovery support when she needs it most. All proceeds support free online recovery programs for women across Australia, delivered by the Women's Resilience Centre. WRC is Australia's dedicated national long-term recovery service, supporting women to reset and rebuild their lives after domestic violence and trauma through trauma-informed care, resilience-building programs and recovery services.
